Main Street runs through Galesburg's downtown in West Central Illinois. Built on farming, manufacturing and railroad work, Galesburg is home to around 31,000. With the loss of Maytag Refrigeration Products and other manufacturers, the small city and its proud residents now struggle to find a place in the post-industrial economy.
